Hi, I'm Mike, the founder of Bench Builders. I'm a full-time entrepreneur, podcast host, devoted father, and loving husband. Before launching Bench Builders, I held senior roles in Shaw and Mohawk, both Fortune 500 manufacturing companies.
I've worked with clients around the world as they scaled their companies quickly, building my knowledge of how to create the right recipe for success and learning how to pivot and avoid potential problems.
I hold a B.S., Psychology from the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga and an M.Ed., Human Resource Development from Vanderbilt University. I am a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and Certified Compensation Professional (CCP). I'm also certified to administer and facilitate DiSC® Profile Workshops and Assessments.

HR CONSULTANT
Mary jumps in and gets hands-on when she needs to, especially when building training programs from the ground up. She has strong graphic skills and the ability to break down complex information into bite-sized chunks for employees. She has had a robust training career and has worked in both leadership and development roles. Mary has a M.Ed. in Human Resources Development and is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
